Installation Prerequisites
Before you can install e-Form RS, you must:
- Disable all pop-up blockers
- Have administrator privileges to your workstation
- Have Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Have Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Firefox
- Meet all other e-Form RS - System Requirements*
*You'll need Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, but the e-Form RS installation process will automatically check for this and install it, if necessary.
Install e-Form RS on a workstation
Follow the steps below to install e-Form RS. If you access e-Form RS from Checkpoint, see Access e-Form RS from Checkpoint below for additional installation options.
- Go to https://eformrs.com/eForm/publish.htm.
- Click the INSTALL button.
- Once the setup.exe file has finished downloading, click to run the file and complete the installation.
Once you install e-Form RS, you can launch it from the desktop shortcut (if added) or by going to Start > Programs > Thomson Reuters > e-Form RS.
Install e-Form RS on Citrix on a Terminal Server

Access e-Form RS from Checkpoint
If you are also licensed for Checkpoint, you can access e-Form RS directly from Checkpoint.
- Launch and log in to Checkpoint using Speedlink (if installed) or by browsing to https://checkpoint.thomsonreuters.com
- Go to the Tools menu and select e-Form RS. If nothing happens, make sure you've turned off your pop-up blocker.
- Click Continue to launch the e-Form RS Passthru page.
- Click Continue on the Passthru page to either launch or install e-Form RS. If you did not previously install it using the steps above (and have .NET 4.0 or higher), you will be prompted to install.
Note: If you are using Chrome or Firefox and are prompted to Keep or Discard, or Save File, you'll need to
install a third-party add-on.
