QuestionHOW DOES PPC'S AUDITS OF NONPUBLIC COMPANIES ADDRESS THE NEW STANDARDS FOR AUDITOR’S REPORTS, FOLLOWING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AICPA CLARIFIED AUDIT STANDARDS FOR AUDITS OF PERIODS ON OR AFTER 12/15/12?
Answer
PPC's Guide to Audits of Nonpublic Companies includes a full discussion of the impact of the AICPA Clarified Auditing Standards on the Auditor’s Report in Chapter 18, which includes a sample Auditor’s Report.  This is a standard report example, included in the paragraph guidance, and not in Word template in PPC's Practice Aids of Audits of Nonpublic Companies.   However, PPC's Guide to Auditor’s Reports contains hundreds of examples to cover many different situations not covered in the scope of the Nonpublic audit guide.  The report examples are available in Word templates in the related PPC's Practice Aids.  Guide to Auditor's Reports, and the related PPC's Practice Aids, is a perfect companion to Guide to Audits of Nonpublic Companies.
